Barbecued Ribs
Ingredients
6 pounds baby back ribs
Saz's Original barbecue sauce
White Pepper and Salt or your favorite seasoning blend
Preparation
Rub seasoning onto rib meat, both sides.
Arrange coals around sides of grill. Place aluminum foil pan with 1 inch of water in the center. Place ribs on grill rack. (Indirect Cooking)
Cover grill kettle, and turn ribs with tongs every 20 minutes for 1 to 1.5 hours.
In the last 10 minutes of cooking, baste with barbecue sauce and cover again. (The sugar in the barbecue sauce will caramelize. If done too early, or directly over the heat source, the sauce may burn.)
Ribs are ready when they begin to pull away from the bone when urged with a fork.
Makes 4-6 servings
